I dont believe that the buddha ‘struck terror’ to their hearts. Maybe he displayed some miracles before the two tribes to authenticate them that hes a Buddha

Struck terror?lord buddha struck terror to the Yakshas n Rakshas and promised to release them from the same fear he casted upon em?i dont think so.there is a grammerical error in this article.

Our Lord Buddha never frightened the Yakka race. That is a big lie. Yakka people had heard from the merchants that there is somebody preaching a new ‘Dhamma’ So they send a message through the merchants inviting Lord Buddha here. So the Thathagatha came to the ground of Mahiyanganaya, where all the people gathered. This place called ‘sangraamabhumi’ So the author of Mahawamsa thought that there was a battle.
But if now Lord Buddha visit to ‘Keththaaraamaya’ do you going to suggest that he came to watch a cricket match?
There are lot of mistakes in Mahawamsa.

Here’s a question..
Wat is the difference between thupa & cethiya?
Coz i cant understand the meaning of the prase ” Then it was transformed to be the Mahiyangana Cetiya”
If u can pls explain it to me.
